THE FISHING
The majority of the fishing at Brooks Lodge will take place on the Brooks River and numerous lakes and streams in the Naknek drainage. The primary species found in the Brooks River are rainbow trout, arctic grayling and sockeye salmon. Daily fly out options to the nearby Kulik River and numerous other rivers and streams are also available. Options to fish in nearby hidden streams, accessible by boat for rainbow trout, sockeye salmon, arctic grayling, arctic char, northern pike and lake trout can also make for an incredible day of fishing.
BOATS, SERVICES, AND EQUIPMENT OFFERED
Boat and guide service, fishing licenses, equipment rentals (spin or fly fishing), waders, flies and tackle, canoe rentals, guided fly out fishing.
THE LODGING
Originally founded in 1950 as a fishing camp, Brooks Lodge has evolved into a premier destination with modern accommodations that is frequented by visitors from all continents. Guest lodging consists of 16 modern rooms which can fit 2-4 guests each, all with showers, private toilet facilities, heat, and electricity. The main lodge sits adjacent to the Brooks River and overlooks the glaciated waters of Naknek Lake, all surrounded by the jagged peaks of Katmai National Park. Connected to the relaxing lodge with a stone fireplace is a spacious dining area, which provides three meals daily -- buffet style -- to fuel your energy for numerous daily adventures. This is an ideal destination for groups of friends, groups of anglers and non-anglers, and families looking for more than just a hard-core fishing trip.

WHAT’S INCLUDED
Brooks Lodge sport fishing packages include roundtrip air transportation between Anchorage and Brooks Lodge, all park access fees, lodging, meals and a 2 hour Brooks River fishing orientation.
WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED
Alaskan fishing license, guided bus tours, alcoholic beverages, gratuities to guides and staff, and optional day trip fly out fishing.
DEPOSIT INFORMATION
A 50% deposit (per angler) of the total package cost paid to Yellow Dog Flyfishing Adventures (YDFA) within 10 days of booking to secure the reservation. Guides and dates cannot be held without a deposit. YDFA reserves the right to charge a handling fee of $100 per person for date changes after the initial reservation has been made. Full payment is due 90 days prior to departure.

Many major airlines serve Anchorage, Alaska from the lower 48. Package prices include round trip airfare from Anchorage.
