Bristol Bay Lodge was founded in 1972 and has since then earned a reputation as one of Alaska’s most established and renowned lodges throughout the entire state. Sitting at the North end of Lake Aleknagik, Bristol Bay Lodge has direct access to the nation’s largest state park, Alaska’s Wood-TikChik Park. With scenery that rivals New Zealand, excellent service and a world-class fishery, Bristol Bay Lodge is the definition of a true Alaskan experience. Since 1958, the veritable “who’s who” in the fly fishing world have visited Deep Water Cay Club. A.J. McClane, Gil Drake, Joe Brooks, and numerous other big names have frequented this private island to search for huge bonefish on over 250 square miles of pristine flats. Since the early days, the Club has become much more than just a simple lodge, with activities and offerings designed to compliment a “standard” flats fishing vacation. A wide selection of activities provide entire families things to enjoy while the most serious anglers in the group wade the flats or take off in a Hell’s Bay skiff for the day.
