FISHING

General Information
With years of experience on many of the best waters in the entire state, Alaska Rainbow Adventures offers programs on rivers that will leave you wanting more each day. With trips on some of the big-named rivers including the Goodnews, Alagnak, Togiak, American, Moraine Creek, Lake Creek and Talachulitna, each trip is custom-tailored to focus on what you would like to accomplish during your visit. You will have the option to choose from three different float trip packages during your stay. Each package offers different levels of service and amenities on your float. On some waters all three service levels are available, while on others, due to accessibility and logistics, only what is called the "Intimate Rivers" trips are offered.

Fisherman's Deluxe Package
This package features a two-to-one guest-to-guide ratio, with two anglers and their guide floating the river in custom-built drifter rafts. A separate gear boat precedes you downriver, carrying much of the gear and setting up camp before you arrive.

Standard Deluxe Package
The Standard Deluxe option offers the same excellent accommodations outlined in the Fisherman's Deluxe, but with a two or three-to-one guest-to-guide ratio.  With this package, there is no gear boat and everyone helps set up camp.

Intimate Rivers Package
The Intimate Rivers float trips are usually on smaller waters and have less of the creature comforts of the other offerings. Availability depends on the particular river you choose to float.

Boats and Equipment
After years of experience running Alaskan river drainages, Alaska Rainbow Adventures is outfitted with only the best rafts and catarafts for your multi-day float. Vessels used include great crafts from top names like Sotar and Aire, ranging from 14 to 18 feet, depending on the chosen river for your trip. Client Testimonials

"The Moraine Creek float trip I took with Alaska Rainbow Adventures was the best Alaska fly fishing trip I have ever been on. I caught my personal record rainbow and there were lots of big fish. Of the 50 or so fish I caught, only two were smaller than 20 inches. Seeing all of those bears was also one of the most memorable experiences of my life. We must have seen 200 bears during the week. The fact that there is still a place on earth where you can experience both fantastic fishing and see so many bears up close makes this a must-do trip. I loved the food and your camp equipment was first rate. What a great trip, and for only half the price of a lodge! I'll be setting up my next trip soon!."
