What: Casa Blanca and Playa Blanca are private and remote destination lodges and offer near-exclusive access to both Espiritu Santo Bay and the vast Santa Rosa Lagoon system. These lodges provide the ideal trip for anglers and their non-angling companions who enjoy solitude, first-rate amenities, and a fishing program that is the bellwether against which we measure many saltwater lodges.

Why: These areas are home to large numbers of bonefish, permit, tarpon, snook, and other shallow-water species. Both lodges offer a unique experience. Playa Blanca is a luxurious beach resort perfect for families or couples looking for the ideal private Caribbean getaway. Casa Blanca sits on the northern tip of a small, coastal island called Isla Punta Pajaros, located in the southern waters of Ascension Bay. As the only lodge for miles, Casa Blanca is remote and pristine; as close to “the way it was” as you will ever be. Ascension Bay is home to one of the world’s most diverse selections of game fish. When conditions are right, an angler can cast to bonefish, tarpon, snook, permit, jacks, barracuda, cubera snapper, mutton snapper, sharks and several different reef species in a single week of fishing.
