We are thrilled to announce that Australia is planning to reopen to international travel on February 21st, 2022! On February 7th, Australia’s Prime Minister reconfirmed the country’s plans and next steps to reopening to international tourism for fully vaccinated visa holders.
On February 21st, Australia plans to welcome back fully vaccinated visa holders that will not be required to quarantine upon arrival. Visa holders who are not fully vaccinated will have to obtain a valid travel exemption in order to enter.
But similar to the United States, some states and territories in Australia have specific requirements for visitors arriving overseas. In addition, there are several specific pre-departure requirements prior to their arrival in Australia.
