As of this week, The Bahamas has removed the Travel Health Visa requirements for all travelers and testing requirements for fully vaccinated travelers!
Effective at 12:01 AM on Sunday, June 19, 2022:
The Government of the Bahamas has announced that travelers to the Bahamas are no longer required to obtain the Bahamas Travel Health Visa. In addition, travelers who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are no longer required to obtain a COVID-19 test prior to entry to the Bahamas. All unvaccinated travelers must obtain a negative COVID-19 test – either a negative RT-PCR test or a negative Rapid Antigen test – no more than 72 hours (three days) prior to arrival in the Bahamas. Proof of the negative test result will be required upon entry into the Bahamas. Vaccinated travelers will be required to present proof of vaccination.
In addition to this exciting news out of The Bahamas, this past Sunday, the United States dropped Covid-19 testing requirements to reenter the country!
