This is welcome news for our friends, guides, and lodge partners in Belize that may have been impacted by the recent travel restrictions. Belize’s pro-active approach to COVID-19 began in late March and included the following: the creation of the COVID-19 National Oversight Committee, the closing of the country’s borders and its international airport, and a region-specific mapping and tracing program for any future cases of COVID-19. At this time there are only 14 confirmed cases of COVID-19 throughout Belize.
With over two decades of experience in Belize, our commitment to our friends, guides, and lodge partners in Belize runs deep. The return of scheduled international air service will surely help our Belizean friends, guides, and lodge partners get back to a more normal lifestyle.
