Yellow Dog client Mike T. returned with a glowing fishing report from his recent trip to Victoria House in Belize. Fishing was consistent for Mike and his guide George throughout his week at Victoria House noting “The bonefish were plentiful and enough shots at permit to score.” And score they did!
Mike was guided by George, a long time Belizean angler and guide. Mike detailed “George is a real gentleman. We went to several different spots in pursuit of all of the species. They were where he said they would be albeit the numbers of tarpon in residence was low. He had the patience of a saint, hanging in that spot for the permit which we eventually got.”
As far as accommodations are concerned Mike “wanted a destination where the fishing was good. But also, a place I could take my wife where there would be comfortable, safe surroundings for her to enjoy while I was out fishing. Victoria House/ Flyfishing with George hit the spot.”
