After a very long and anticipated wait, Yellow Dog was notified this morning that Christmas Island is expected to re-open in February of 2023.
The current expectation is that all anglers will be required to take a rapid Covid-19 test upon arrival, although exactly how they will deliver on these logistics remains to be seen. After two years of closure, we are thrilled to finally send anglers back to one of the best saltwater fisheries on planet earth. With two years of incredibly limited pressure, the upcoming season will offer some truly special fishing.
