A recent Yellow Dog Flyfishing Adventures client just returned from a fantastic trip to Swain’s Cay Lodge on Andros Island, Bahamas. This is their second Yellow Dog Flyfishing Adventures trip and once again they already booked Swain’s for the same week in 2014. Swain’s Cay Lodge is a full-service bonefishing operation and beach resort that ideally situated and built to cater to anglers, non-anglers, families and couples. There is an easily accessed home flat where anglers can fish on their own after a full day of guided fishing and on arrival and departure days. Andros Island is known as the “Bonefish Capital of the World” and the “Bights” of the island collectively offer one of the most expansive flats systems in the world. Aside from the area’s huge numbers of bonefish, anglers can also target barracuda, sharks, jacks, snapper and even offshore species. Swain’s is the ideal option for those looking for great fishing combined with all of the amenities and accommodations that non-anglers look for in a Caribbean beach vacation.
