LIVE FROM THE FIELD: BELIZE GUIDE SYMPOSIUM AND FLY FISHING BELIZE BOOK RELEASE
After a great couple days out at Caye Caulker, it was time for the Yellow Dog team to head back to Belize City for the Belize Guide Symposium, facilitated and hosted by Dr. Aaron Adams of Bonefish Tarpon Trust and Yellow Dog’s Jim Klug. This type of nationwide guide meeting had never really been organized before, and no one was entirely sure what to expect. Needless to say that we were all thrilled by the huge turn-out of lodges, guides, outfitters and NGO’s from all throughout the country. The meeting room was truly standing room only!
Once the meeting ended fun began, with the book release party for Jim Klug’s new book “Fly Fishing Belize.” Hosted by Belikin Beer, the Radisson Hotel, Yellow Dog and Hatch Reels, the party was a blast. The Belikin flowed freely, the music was loud, and everyone seemed to have a great time. It was great to launch the book in Belize at an event that was attended by so many of the guides, friends and lodges that helped make it happen!
