Montana Snowpack and Summer Streamflow Update
What’s up with all that snow that fell?
Conditions in Montana are shaping up for another consistent summer season of fly-fishing the rivers and creeks of Montana. As caddis hatch on the Missouri and Madison Rivers, we are currently enjoying some late spring dry fly fishing. But now it is time to think about summer-time fishing.
And…with our snowpack levels in most river basins at, or slightly above, normal levels for this time of year, Yellow Dog Flyfishing Adventures is excited for the possibility of a summer with rivers at, or slightly above, average summer streamflows.
