Yellow Dog has a prime week secured at arguably the most unique fly fishing program we offer in Chile – Lakutaia Heli-Fishing Lodge!
Operating at the southernmost tip of Chile, Lakutaia Heli-Fishing Lodge is a one-of-a-kind, heli-fishing operation located on Navarino Island – a wild, remote and undeveloped wilderness area in the UNESCO Cape Horn Biosphere. Utilizing safe and reliable helicopters, Lakutaia provides anglers with access to some of the most remote and unreachable lakes and river in all of South America, with abundant wade fishing opportunities for browns, brook trout and rainbows, as well as the occasional sea-run brown trout. In many respects, Navarino Island can be considered one of the last of the great unexplored freshwater trout fisheries on the planet. With one of the best locations on the island, Lakutaia Lodge is located on the outskirts of Puerto Williams – the world’s southernmost town – directly overlooking the Beagle Channel and the rugged terrain of Argentina’s Tierra del Fuego.
This is an amazing one-of-a-kind trip perfect for dedicated fly anglers wanting an adventure of a lifetime in one of the world’s last best places to cast a line for wild trout!
