ONE AWESOME MONTH AT LA PESCADORA LODGE
There has been a big buzz surrounding La Pescadora Lodge lately, great reports have been trickling in, take a look. Yellow Dog guests were at La Pescadora Lodge last week. All four boats had amazing days: + Dove Gibson caught a Grand Slam with Jose + Pier Marzinotto caught a 21.5 lb permit with Pedro + Stuart Cameron caught an 18 lb permit with Rodolfo + David Nakamoto got 2 permit: 12 and 14 lbs with Eleazar Not to mention ... It was so good that one of our clients who was there the last 2 weeks and extended his stay!Another Yellow Dog client, Tom Hart, reports in from his recent trip to La Pescadora Lodge. Thomas his 14-year old son landed one permit and he landed two in only four days of fishing with guide Jose. “Jose is excellent, particularly for an experienced saltwater fly fisherman who thrives on pressure.
However he also did a good job of helping my 14-year-old son get lots of shots and success. My son had a mix of difficult situations and easier situations. We had many opportunities for Permit that would have been tough for anybody and particularly tough for my son, but that's better than no opportunities at all.”
“Bottom line, my son had lots of shots and successfully caught a permit on fly! Also many bones, a big barracuda, and a baby tarpon. And despite giving most of the casting time to my son I still managed to catch two permit for myself. Excellent results for a four-day trip in pretty windy conditions.”
