The upcoming fishing season in both Chile and Argentina is fast approaching, and the prospects for open travel in late 2021 and early 2022 are strong. While there have still been no official announcements on firm opening dates for entrance into either country, we are optimistic that we will have a full and complete season in the coming year. Argentina’s Minister of Tourism, Matias Lammens, stated last week that the country’s borders are planning to reopen in October with no quarantine requirement, and we are hearing similar news out of neighboring Chile.
As the fishing season in Patagonia typically begins in early November, we are excited and confident in the year ahead. Yellow Dog has great availability and prime dates available for many of our Chilean and Argentine operations, and we are currently taking reservations for the coming months. If you’re open to an incredible Patagonian adventure for the November through April timeframe, contact Yellow Dog today! With fisheries that have been incredibly well-rested for almost two years, we expect the fishing to be incredible.
