Two New Destinations Added to Yellow Dog Lineup

Yellow Dog is thrilled to announce the addition of two new amazing fly fishing programs: Crescent Spur Lodge and Cayo Paredon!

Crescent Spur Lodge

Set approximately 2 hours east of Prince George, British Columbia, Crescent Spur Lodge is located within the Canadian Northern Rockies and Cariboo Mountains. With the lodge’s remote location and access to virtually untouched rivers, streams, and alpine lakes via helicopter, Crescent Spur provides anglers and adventurers the opportunity to access some of the most remote and unpressured bull and rainbow trout fisheries in Canada.

What’s Included:

  • Scheduled airport transfers between Prince George Airport and Crescent Spur Lodge
  • Dinner and safety training on the incoming day
  • Four days of heli-accessed rivers, streams, and alpine lake fishing, and boat-assisted river fishing
  • Private room accommodations
  • All gourmet meals
  • Rods, reels, flies and terminal tackle

What’s Not Included:

  • Roundtrip airfare to Prince George Airport (YXS)
  • Alcohol (available for purchase at the lodge)

Cayo Paredon

Cayo Paredon, named for the lighthouse that marks the westernmost tip of the key, lies just off the northern coast of Cuba and to the West of the Cayo Cruz fishery. This is a dynamic fishery with plenty of permit, and wading opportunities for bonefish, migratory tarpon, and triggerfish on the expansive flats. Pack your wading boots and get some peak season dates on your 2023 fishing calendar. May and June 2023 weeks available at $4,100 per person (based on double occupancy).

What’s Included:

  • Reception at Cayo Coco (CCC) and transfer to oceanfront luxury hotel
  • Seven (7) nights in Hotel Cayo Paredon Grande in double occupancy room (Single room supplement fee of $500 for single occupancy room for the week) both anglers must pay
  • Six (6) full days of guided fishing (two people per skiff)
  • All meals and beverages at the oceanfront luxury hotel, Hotel Cayo Paredon Grande
  • All taxes and GSTs
  • Daily transfers to/from the marina and resort

What’s Not Included:

  • International flights to Cuba (Yellow Dog can help arrange)
  • Reception at Camaguey Airport (CMW) and transfer to oceanfront luxury hotel (Additional $200 per person round trip)
  • Visa (Yellow Dog can help arrange)
  • Meals, drinks, taxis, and any additional expenses while in Cuba
  • Fishing tackle, equipment, flies, and all terminal tackle (Bring it all with you!)
  • Gratuities for guides and staff 
  • Other items of a personal nature
