This past weekend, there was big news in the travel industry as the Biden Administration officially dropped Covid-19 testing requirements for all inbound air travelers – one of the longest-standing rules of the pandemic. Before the recent announcement, anyone traveling to the United States had to provide proof of a negative Covid-19 test that was administered within one day of travel. What does this mean for traveling anglers? Today, travelers will no longer have to take a Covid test to return to the United States. The recent announcement applies to all US citizens, regardless of vaccination status. This news means that travelers will no longer have to stress about coordinating tests overseas, and it eases the concern of getting stuck or having to quarantine abroad.
With travel restrictions and regulations relaxing all over the world, we expect the demand for international travel to remain at an all-time high. The vast majority of our angling destinations are OPEN AND FISHING as of June 2022. Recently, New Zealand and Australia, two countries with notoriously strict travel regulations, have reopened and have welcomed visitors back. So, as the world continues to reopen and travel restrictions subside, our advice is to BOOK EARLY so that you can reserve your space at your preferred destinations at the best times. We always want to take excellent care of our clients, and we will always do everything we can to ensure a successful trip by focusing on all of the “key ingredients” for great fishing and great overall experiences.
