Update as of April 7th, 2022: We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who donated to Mike Ledezma’s GoFundMe and/or helped raise awareness. The winner of the Thomas & Thomas Sextant saltwater fly rod is Alan from Florida who has decided to donate the value of the rod toward Mike’s GoFundMe.

Through all of your generous donations, we have been able to collectively raise over $65,000 within a few weeks, which will put a major dent in Mike’s medical bills. Mike obviously has a very tough battle in front of him, but he wanted to let everyone know that “there are no words to describe how much this means.” With that said, we still are accepting donations to help Mike and plan to keep everyone updated on his condition!

Mike's insurance, unfortunately, does not cover his costly treatments. Mike is a pillar in the fly fishing industry and his community. He has helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars which directly aided Punta Allen. And for the past twenty years, he has been a cornerstone for countless memories for hundreds of anglers.
