Alec Gerbec – a seasoned industry veteran who has guided in the Seychelles, Alaska, and throughout the US West – has joined the Yellow Dog team as full-time program director for the Seychelles, the Indian Ocean, and Africa. In his former role of head guide for Alphonse Fishing Company, Alec spent years guiding throughout the Seychelles, giving him the ideal background and skill set for his new role with Yellow Dog. Alec has also worked as a sales rep and saltwater fly designer for Umpqua Feather Merchants and is one of the most knowledgeable people in the industry when it comes to fly design and saltwater applications.
