YELLOWSTONE VALLEY LODGE | CLIENT REPORT
A great client trip report from Yellowstone country, check it out….
“Before I got sucked back in to my work world, I want to express my family’s sincere thanks for a fabulous trip to The Yellowstone Valley Lodge this past week. While I have had the opportunity to drive up and down the Paradise Valley and Yellowstone through the years, this was a “first” for my wife and son. Memorable does even begin to describe the experience.
The accommodations, staff and food at the Lodge were amazing. It didn’t hurt that we were staying on the banks of the Yellowstone—greeted several mornings by Bald and Golden eagles on the opposite bank, with the majestic Absaroka Mountains in the background. I realize I am probably sounding like a sales brochure for your organization, but, my god, it was THAT good.
My son and I were very fortunate to fish with guides Perry and Pat. These guys are good. This was my son’s first experience in a drift boat and on the crystal clear waters of the DePuy. Both guides were patient, informative, knowledgeable as hell and had a great sense of humor, which I find mandatory for any fly fishing experience. Watching my son hook and land browns, rainbows, cutthroats and cut bows, under the guidance of Perry and Pat was something I will never forget. And I think we have a new passionate fly fisher in the family!
I realize your organization receives thousands of pictures, but I have included one with my son and Perry on DePuy. Any father that has introduced his son to fly fishing will understand my pride. (And I think Perry was pretty jacked, too!)
