What are Your Favorite Fly Fishing Destinations?
“Tsimane Lodges, Bolivia – An absolutely unique, pristine, and incredible place and fishery. Golden Dorado is fun AF. ChileTrout Lodge, Chile – The variation of water types in a single area is amazing – from spring creeks in grassland to big glacial fed rivers in temperate rainforest – amazing location. Jurassic Lake Lodge – A rainbow trout fishery like none other on the planet, and the lodge is a stone’s throw from the best beats – incredible spot, and Argentine wine is a favorite of ours. Iceland with Fish Partner – Our Iceland experience has been searching for big, wild, native, ice-age brown trout. It was not always easy, but they are incredible to fight and see in person and the landscape is stunning to the point of surreal.”
What are trips that are on your bucket list?
“Alphonse, Seychelles – The best of the best saltwater fishing with GTs is, of course, at the top of the wish list. Ascension Bay, Mexico – Many shots at permit and beers on the beach; sign us up. Tierra del Fuego, Argentina – Ripping wind and some of the biggest sea-run browns in the world, enough said. Iceland for sea-run browns – Last time we were in Iceland, we targeted resident fish; we are hoping to get after some big sea runs before too long. Brazil for Peacock Bass – This seems to be one of the better topwater eats in freshwater; we would like to see it for ourselves…”
What's New With RepYourWater?
“The RepYourWater Spring 2022 Collection is the perfect blend of what has been the base of RepYourWater since our inception in 2011 and the innovation of product and design we have become over the last 11 years. Unique designs that show your passion for your favorite place to fish, species to target or fishing method still shine, with some of our new favorite pieces like the Colorado Hopper hat and tee, the Montana Native hat and the Shallow Water Brookie hat. What sets this collection apart from years past is the innovation behind our polyester/merino blend sun shirts and hoodies; the unique take on our Waterside Tote; the second generation of our Hybrid Shirt and much more.”
