John Hudgens is Yellow Dog’s South America program director, managing operations in Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Brazil, and Venezuela. John has fished extensively throughout South America and spent several years guiding and managing lodges in Patagonia. John literally grew up in the fly fishing industry, first working for Bob Jacklin in West Yellowstone, Montana before moving on to become one of the top guides for Mike Lawson’s Henry’s Fork Anglers in Idaho. During the peak summer months, John still guides in Idaho and Montana before settling back into the Yellow Dog office life each fall season. John is an incredible angler, a fanatical bird hunter and dog trainer, and one of the most genuine and straightforward people that we’ve ever met in this industry.
