Join Yellow Dog on an expeditionary and very adventurous trip to Cameroon to fish for trophy Nile Perch, tigerfish and yellowfish on the fly. This off-the-grid African fishing takes place in prime big game areas where wildlife viewing is as much a part of the trip as the fishing. The 2019 pioneer season was primarily a litmus test to allow our outfitters to plan and implement sound fishery management practices and better establish the fishing program. For the 2020 season, out outfitter has now doubled (from 60km to 120km) the river area under their management, allowing them to operate a two-location camp set-up and move guests between these camps and the different sections of river depending on the time of the season and overall fishing conditions. (The lower camp fishing is expected to be better early to mid-season, and the upper camp fishing better from mid to late season.) This program is very limited, and only 16 rods per camp will be accommodated for the entire 2020 season, ensuring that all guests arrive knowing the river is well-rested with very little pressure. If you are interested in joining one of our two hosted weeks for 2020, please contact Yellow Dog right away. Spots are very limited and will go fast.
This is the ideal trip for the adventurous, hard-core angler looking to fish exotic species in the wilds of Africa! (USD $9750 per person)
