Explore and Fish the Wild Amazonas
Join Yellow Dog’s South America program director, Jack Porter, on a combo trip to Brazil to fly fish for peacock bass, arapaima, arawana, and numerous other exotic species of freshwater gamefish. Anglers will stay at Pirarucu Lodge, which is located in the middle of the largest arapaima reserves in the world, on the first leg of the trip. After four nights and three and a half days of fishing at Pirarucu, anglers will then travel to Rio Marie Lodge, one of the leading operations in the world to target trophy-sized peacock bass, for seven nights and six days of fishing.
Dates: September 27 – October 9, 2022
Sept 27th – Arrival Manaus and overnight Manaus Hotel (included)
Sept 28th – Early morning Azul Airlines flight (not included) arrival at the lodge around noon, lunch, and 1/2 day fishing at afternoon.
Sept 29-30th and Oct 1-3 full days fishing in Pirarucu
Oct 2 – Boat transfer to Tefe (1h) Charter Plane picks group in Tefe heading to Rio Marie (2h). Arrival in Rio Marie mothership.
Oct 3 – 8th – 6 full days fishing in Rio Marie
Oct 9th – Charter flight back to Manaus. Fly back home (after 6pm) or overnight in Manaus (not included) to fly out Brazil next day.
