American Airlines Adds New Montana and Alaska Routes for 2020

September 4, 2019

For the summer angling season of 2020, it is now easier to get to our destinations in Montana and Alaska. With the addition of new routes to Montana and Alaska, American Airlines has quietly become a regular carrier to these two states.

Montana has seven total routes, with direct dailies to Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and New York’s LaGuardia. Anglers can now easily access the waters around Bozeman and Glacier National Park.

Alaska now has increased service to Anchorage and Fairbanks from Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Dallas, making the backcountry and wilderness fly fishing of Alaska feel a little closer to home.

With the new routes, American says it will offer a combined 17 routes to Alaska and Montana in its 2020 summer schedule.
