Men's Fishing Waders

Fit is critical. Waders should allow freedom of movement without being overly baggy. Stockingfoot waders are sized to accommodate layering underneath, so check the brand’s sizing chart carefully. Many manufacturers also offer short, tall, and full sizes to ensure a better fit.

Proper care is key to extending the life of your waders. Rinse them with fresh water after use—and always hang them to dry fully in a cool, shaded area. Avoid folding them tightly for storage. Periodically, use a mild liquid detergent to wash your waders, gently scrubbing the fabric. Soak for about 5 minutes on each side, then rinse twice in clean, cool water. Periodically inspect for pinholes or leaks and repair them promptly to keep your waders performing at their best.

Stockingfoot waders come with neoprene booties and require separate wading boots, giving anglers more traction options and a better fit. Bootfoot waders have built-in boots for convenience and warmth, making them popular in colder climates for activities like duck hunting. Overall, stockingfoot waders are the go-to choice for fly fishing applications.
