Description
The Tributary is Simms' entry-level stockingfoot wader, built with a breathable, waterproof 3-layer polyester upper and a tougher 4-layer polyester lower for reinforced protection where abrasion risk is highest. It's built without intentionally added PFAS chemicals, and delivers dependable, everyday wading protection in a simpler, lighter package than Simms' guide-grade models.
Storage includes a reach-through, fleece-lined hand-warming pocket, a zippered top stash pocket, and an integrated fly patch, while a single rear belt loop holds a 38mm non-stretch wading belt for fit and added safety. Built-in Gravel Guards with a gathered elastic bottom hem seal around wading boots to keep debris out, and anatomically engineered neoprene stockingfeet with an anti-microbial finish round out the fit.

- Waders and rain gear should be dried after each use, both inside and out. Simms understands that certain situations do not allow for time to fully dry between uses. It is the expectation that this circumstance will contribute to a potential shorter lifespan.
- Breathable fabrics are porous in nature and can collect dirt, oils from the skin and other environmental substances. Regular cleaning of waders is a key contributor to their lifespan.
- Depending on the amount of days used, annual, bi-annual or tri-annual washing is recommended.
- Exposure to salt water or salt air requires special care: The waders must be rinsed thoroughly with fresh water and dried after each use.
