Keep Your Nautilus Reel Performing Its Best

Rinse your Nautilus reel with fresh water after every saltwater use.
Use gentle water pressure, similar to what you would use when washing your hands. High pressure can push salt deeper into the backing.
Remove the spool and rinse it thoroughly to clear away salt and debris.
Lightly rinse the reel frame and housing. A heavy spray is unnecessary.
Allow both the spool and frame to dry completely before reassembling or storing the reel.
Never store the reel while it is wet. Leave it in a warm, dry place for several days, or up to a week, before packing it away.
