Yellow Dog Flyfishing began over twenty-five years ago on the flats of Northern Belize, a region seemingly tailor-made for fly fishing. This small Central American country boasts some of the finest saltwater flats in the world, with a diverse range of species and fishing scenarios along its entire coastline. Northern Belize was home to Yellow Dog’s first fishing-focused program, and for over two decades, we’ve dedicated ourselves to crafting the best fly fishing experiences in Belize.
On this journey, Yellow Dog's Matt Kelsic and Bryan Gregson, along with cinematographer Chris Patterson, visit Belize River Lodge, El Pescador Lodge, and Turneffe Flats Lodge in search of bonefish, permit, and tarpon on the fly. Together, they provide a glimpse into each lodge's operations and the unique saltwater flats fisheries that surround them.
