Cones

Cones are weighted heads added to streamer and baitfish patterns to help them sink quickly and swim with an enticing jigging action. They also give flies a natural, tapered profile that pushes water and adds realism to the pattern.

Most cones are made of brass or tungsten. Brass cones provide moderate weight and are great for general-purpose streamers, while tungsten is denser and sinks much faster—ideal for deep pools, fast currents, or when targeting fish that hold near the bottom.
