About Us: Yellow Dog Flyfishing is the industry’s largest fishing adventure travel company, dedicated to providing our clients with unforgettable outdoor experiences to over 245 lodges and destinations in 33 different countries. We specialize in organizing high-end angling and vacation packages to some of the most scenic and sought-after locations in the world. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Office Manager to join our team and help us streamline our operations.

Job Summary: As the Office and Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of company office operations. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, from HR platform oversight to executive assistance, event planning, facilities and office management, and more. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and exciting industry, surrounded by passionate fishing and outdoor enthusiasts.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources Platform Management:

  • Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new employees.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Manage and maintain the HR platform (Bamboo), including employee records and documentation.
  • Administer and organize annual HR benefits to staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

2. Executive Assistant to the CEO:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CEO.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, annual company catalog, and various promotional and marketing materials.

Office Building Operations:

  • Oversee general office maintenance, including coordinating repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Organize and execute staff travel arrangements when necessary.

4. Fly Fishing Trade and Consumer Show Coordination:

  • Coordinate the company's participation in fishing shows and events.
  • Plan and manage air, hotel, transportation logistics, and staffing for trade shows.
  • Assist with marketing materials and promotional strategies for trade show exhibits.

5. Event Management:

  • Plan and execute company events, staff parties, and team-building activities, including our annual meeting, holiday parties, weekend retreats, and monthly birthday celebrations.
  • Coordinate all aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, and entertainment.
  • Ensure events run smoothly and within budget.


  • Previous experience in office management, HR, and/or executive assistance required.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software/tools.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Knowledge of and passion for fly fishing or outdoor adventures (preferred but not required).
