Stonefly Flies

The largest of the three primary insects on the trout food pyramid, stoneflies are an incredibly exciting hatch to fish. Whether it be a skwala, golden stone, or the world-famous salmon fly, trout recognize a steak dinner when they see one. While a blast to fish on topwater, nymph forms of stoneflies can be deadly all year long.
