Yellow Dog Flyfishing Adventures client with a really nice permit he caught while on a trip to the Yucatan.
“My stay at the Grand Slam Lodge was exceptional!! The food was amazing as well as the margarita that was waiting for me after I got off the boat each day. The staff was wonderful and couldn’t do enough for you. The last hour of fishing brought me face to face with a 20-pound permit and after changing the fly 3 times he finally ate my green crab pattern. I was using my 8-wt and didn’t want to horse him in because I was afraid I would lose the fish in the mangroves. Finally after the guide chased the fish for 15 minutes my son was able to jump in the water and net the fish of a lifetime. What a way to end my trip!! Thanks Yellow Dog, you did it again.”
