YELLOW DOG TEAM MEMBERS MAKE AN APPEARANCE IN C.J. BOX’S NEW NOVEL BADLANDS
We understand here at Yellow Dog Flyfishing Adventures that sometimes it is the little things that can make all the difference between a good trip and a GREAT trip. Whether it be a fishy guide, the right flies, a just cold enough beer, or a damn good book while traveling, it’s important to step back and take in the small things that count.
Today we wanted to introduce our anglers to one of our favorite authors here at Yellow Dog, and a series of novels that is pretty much required to read if you work at the offices in Bozeman, MT. C.J. Box is a New York Times bestselling author who has published over 20 novels, including the renowned Joe Pickett chronicles – a series following the Wyoming Game Warden through all of his perils and adventures. Box’s newest book entitled Badlands is based around the oil and drug trade in Grimstad, North Dakota, where detective Cassie Dewell finds herself in a dangerous game of corruption, deceit and murder. Be sure to pick up a copy of the book before your next angling adventure, and be on the lookout for a few of the Yellow Dog team members to make an appearance on the pages! We are proud to be featured in the new book, and help one of our favorite authors set up his angling adventures all over the world. Check out the new book at the link below, and contact Yellow Dog when you are ready to use it on your next journey!
