Clown Egg - Size 10
Description
Not sure why these are so darned effective but they are. They were born several years ago in the Great Lakes fisheries, especially for steelhead. They were originally called carpet fly eggs. They used any and all of the egg colors that lay as waste on the floor. In the stream, eggs do change color over time, and from day to day the triggering egg color may change, but it requires a lot of guesswork to find that "color of the day". These eggs offer whatever the color of the moment may be chartreuse, pink, orange or white. They become especially magical when fished over pressured or skittish fish.
