Description

"The Foam Gut Minnow was originally developed for a guide client who only wanted to fish dry flies. The Foam Gut Minnow gave him an opportunity to catch fish keying in on baitfish and have the visible thrill of dry fly fishing he loved. 

After a while we started to slide it in front of rising fish just to see their reaction.  A lot of them crushed it. 

After that success we started using it as normal streamer on overcast days and high water events.  It worked well. 

The main key is that it’s not a high floating fly, rather it slides through and just under the surface film like a wounded baitfish."
