Do what they are supposed to

They work exactly as they are supposed to. Just did a week with them wading 7 plus miles a day on Christmas Island. Had very little to no sand issues while most others in my group had some issues. They are very adjustable and seem durable. Make sure that you clip the gravel guard tightly to the laces to reduce catching your fly line.
