Avalon Permit Fly (Heavy) - Tan - Size 2
In Stock • Bozeman, MT
Description
The Avalon fly is a proven pattern specifically designed for targeting permit, particularly in the waters of Cuba where it originated. Its key feature is a monofilament loop keel with threaded with stainless steel beads, allowing the fly to ride hook point up and avoid snags while crawling along the bottom. Tied with a tan marabou body, rubber legs, and subtle flash, the Avalon mimics a large mantis shrimp, and has brought many permit to hand since its inception! It is featured as one of our Top 13 Permit Flies for Regions Around the World!
