Flow Data: Missouri River below Holter Dam near Wolf Creek, MT

Fishing remains good. PMD's are hatching in good numbers and fish have been keying in on them. Cripples, spinners, and duns are all worth having to trick rising trout. The fish will get a bit more picky as they see flies throughout the hatch. But for now, 5x and a Last Chance Cripple are working great. Nymphing has remained very productive. A Tailwater Sowbug paired with a midge nymph or PMD nymph is a tough nymph rig to beat. The sowbugs will begin to lose their steam soon. Streamer fishing have been OK. Doesn't hurt to try a streamer. The streamer action has been improving slightly. It is certainly better when it is cloudy. Buggers, Sparkle Minnows, Kreelex, or Skiddish Smolts are all excellent choices.
