- I can't recommend the Garbutts Lodge enough. Dennis and the entire crew were amazing. They made the trip that much more incredible. Guides were great, there were some issues with one guide, but we addressed it with Dennis and nipped it in the butt quickly.
Were you pleased with your guide(s) customer service, communication skills, professionalism, work ethic, and general fishing knowledge? If not, please share why.
- Yes, Yogi, Scully, and Alex were amazing. Hard working and kept you in the target zone. All 4 fly fisherman caught permit on their first trip to Belize. I'd say the guides were solid!
What key piece(s) of gear, tackle, flies, soft goods, etc. made your trip successful?
- Flys, flys, flys and more variations of flys.
What piece(s) of equipment would you not leave home without for this trip?
- 9-10WT, extra leaders and tippet from 10lb to 20lb. Camo crabs, Bauer crabs and every color combo of bonefish flies and size.

- 100%. Its stunning. Untouched beauty. I hope it stays this way as long as possible.
