LESSONS LEARNED FROM A COUPLE OF BIRDS | BOLIVIA
Yellow Dog Flyfishing client sent this in from his trip to the Amazon, to fish for Golden Dorados, in the remote regions of Bolivia. We always appreciate our client’s trip reports and we absolutely loved reading this one. Well said, Bruce!
So after 8 GREAT days of fishing everything muddied up and day 9, our last, was REALLY SLOW. Near the end of the day, I was trying to make long casts that I was way to tired to make, and pouting a little over closing the trip on a down fishing day. Then 2 Macaws landed in a tree above me and started scolding me as only they can. Just the reminder I needed that the fishing, while great, was not the main attraction of this trip. We experienced and saw things that few will ever see, let alone understand and appreciate. Thanks very much for the help that you provided as we prepared for this trip. - Bruce
Often times, the fish lure us to the adventure, and more often than not we realize ol Henry was certainly on to something.
