The SA Magnitude Smooth Bonefish Plus 10’ Clear Tip takes the Grand Slam’s defining characteristic — the short front taper that casts long leaders and drives heavy patterns — and builds it onto a longer, more moderate head designed specifically for bonefish and permit. The 50.5-foot head is 10 feet longer than the Grand Slam’s and built a half-size heavy rather than three-quarters, producing a line that loads efficiently at the close ranges bonefish fishing can sometimes demands while remaining comfortable at the longer distances that open flats sometimes require.
The 10-foot clear floating tip is built from naturally buoyant fluoropolymers that float without dressing and are nearly invisible to fish. On bonefish and permit flats where the leader area is the most visible part of the rig to the fish, removing the colored tip from that zone is a meaningful practical advantage. The colored head begins 10 feet from the leader junction, giving the angler a visual reference for cast timing and head position.
