Cathy's Fleeing Crab - Tan

Description

Designed by Cathy Beck, the Fleeing Crab is a proven pattern for bonefish, permit, and other flats species. Its legs are tipped with fire orange to act as a subtle trigger, while a two-tone marabou tail with just a hint of Krystal Flash adds lifelike movement and shimmer. Weighted to ride hook-point up, the fly drops naturally into feeding lanes and gives the impression of a small crab kicking away across the bottom. This is a tried and true classic pattern in the mold of the original merkin crab by Del Brown.
