Description
The Umpqua Swimming Frog is one of the most proven topwater bass flies ever designed, originally based on Larry Dahlberg and Dave Whitlock’s swimming frog concepts. It is built around a spun deer hair head and body, combined with rubber legs and hackle, which allows it to both float and dive when stripped. What makes this fly stand out is its ability to create noise and disturbance while still maintaining a natural swimming motion, producing a trail of bubbles and a subtle “bloop” that bass key in on immediately.
