Description
We loved this diminutive Hopper from the very first inspection. But we knew we had a winner when Administrative Manager, Geri Norton, said it "was very cute". And besides the real fishing situations this fly was designed for, sometimes "cute" works. This smaller Charlie Boy was Charlie's real answer to fishing - and having loads of fun - early season hoppers, imitating the small, frequently wingless "juveniles". In addition it became the perfect little hopper for suspending nymphs on very shallow skinny riffles, with a foam dry that was stealthier. The Baby Boy also offers a size for small stream fishing over wild, smaller trout. Oh yeah - have we mentioned panfish yet? Plus, do not forget - "it's cute".
