Description
The Deep Cleaner is a modern stonefly nymph pattern that combines the proven fish-catching qualities of a rubberleg stone with the added movement and profile of mop material. The extended mop abdomen creates a unique undulating action underwater that gives the fly a much more lifelike appearance in the drift, especially in heavier current.
Similar in concept to a Pat’s Rubber Leg but with a longer flowing body, the Deep Cleaner is an excellent searching pattern whenever trout are feeding on stonefly nymphs (all year long).
