Description
The Summit Sling 2.0 is for anglers who want more storage and organization than a small chest or hip pack without stepping up to a backpack. At 9 liters, it has room for several fly boxes, leaders and tippet, floatant, indicators, tools, a water bottle, and other day-fishing essentials.
The sling design keeps the pack behind you while fishing but allows you to rotate it forward when you need your gear. An integrated net sleeve, exterior bottle holder, and tool attachment points also keep frequently used equipment out of the main compartments.

FAQ
Who is this pack for?
The Summit Sling 2.0 is built for anglers who want a technical sling with real storage and organization, not a stripped-down minimalist pack. Three large main compartments and seven interior and exterior pockets give it more room than most slings its size, and a molded drop-down fly/cargo bench with outside Velcro for fly patch attachment gives you a stable surface to change flies or rig up mid-stream without setting anything down on the bank.
It's built to rotate easily from your back to your front for casting access, and Hypalon tool attachments plus a shoulder pad work station keep retractors, floatant holders, and forceps within reach the whole day.
Is this pack waterproof?
It's water-resistant, not fully submersible. The Summit Sling 2.0 uses coated YKK water-resistant zippers, which shed rain and splashes well but aren't designed to keep contents dry if the pack goes fully underwater. For anglers who need full submersion protection -- boat trips through rapids, or float-plane travel where a dunk is a real risk -- Fishpond's separate Thunderhead Submersible Sling uses a self-healing TRU Zip closure built for that level of protection instead.
How do I attach tools and accessories?
Hypalon tool attachments are built in for retractors, floatant holders, forceps, and more, and the shoulder pad itself doubles as a work station with Velcro and Hypalon attachment points -- so frequently used tools can stay clipped within reach rather than buried in a pocket. An exterior water bottle holder with a locking cord keeps hydration secured on the outside of the pack.
