"The creation of the Lil Swinger stemmed from my time spent swinging flies on the freestone rivers and tailwaters of Colorado and Wyoming, as well as on the eastern lake-run trout fisheries near the Great Lakes.
While many trout spey flies seemed more suited for steelhead than trout, I envisioned a true-to-size trout-specific swing fly.
