Orvis PRO Depth Charge Smooth
PRO Depth Charge is a triple density sinking fly line designed with three different levels of sink to eliminate the hinge effect in the line for better strike detection and line feel. This design allows the line to retain a tight connection from fly to angler as it sinks into the water column, reducing unwanted slack. Superb for swinging flies through fast currents or working streamers in deep stillwaters. The front section is a 30' full sink tip (6 in. per second average sink rate based on grain weight). The mid-section is a 20' type 3 (3 in. per second sink rate). The running line is an Intermediate with a 1.5 in. per second sink rate.
