Size Guide
Use your regular street shoe size when ordering wading boots - Simms wading boots are designed to accommodate the neoprene stockingfoot of the typical wader.
If you are a half size, then you should size up to the next full size. Women should size down for men's wading boots (ie: a women's USA shoe size 8 would take a men's wading boot size 7).

FAQ
Who is this boot for?
The Flyweight Vibram Sole is built for anglers who travel to fish and don't want to sacrifice support or durability to save weight and pack space. A durable, lightweight TPU-based synthetic woven upper keeps bulk down for the flight or the hike in, molded rubber toe and abrasion panels protect against the wear and tear of a demanding trip, and a high-cushion dual-density EVA midsole keeps long days on foot comfortable. It suits anglers headed to destinations that mean hiking between runs, wet-wading transitions, or simply anyone who wants Simms' most travel-ready wading boot without giving up real traction and support. Anglers who specifically want maximum ankle structure for the most technical, heavy-current wading may prefer the guide-grade G3 or G4 lines instead; the Flyweight's strength is a balance of low weight, comfort, and durability built for the road.
What is the Vibram® Idrogrip outsole?
Vibram® Idrogrip with a Traction Lug pattern is a purpose-built rubber compound and lug design that optimizes stability while walking and wading in water, and it's compatible with Simms' full range of add-on cleats and studs for anglers who want more grip.
How do the Flyweight sole options compare (Vibram vs. Felt)?
Simms sells the Flyweight Boot in two sole options: this Vibram Sole and a Felt Sole. The Vibram Sole uses a Vibram® Idrogrip outsole with a Traction Lug pattern, dries quickly, and accepts both Star Cleats (Alumibite or Hardbite) and Hardbite studs. The Felt Sole uses a Simms 10mm felt outsole for classic grip on slick, algae-covered rock, at the cost of slower dry time and legal restrictions in some destinations, and it accepts Hardbite studs only -- felt outsoles don't accept cleats. Choose Vibram for an everywhere-legal, faster-drying boot with more traction options. Choose Felt for traditional grip on slick rock in destinations where felt is legal to use.
